This is a brief Itinary.
It is my pleasure to ensure you get the most relaxation and enjoyment with me.

Hello and thank you for enquiring about the Guest Cruising with me.

Firstly I would point out that this is not a hire boat offer as I do not and can not hire out the boat.

If you are looking to spend some time cruising the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads but can not handle a hire boat your selves or wish

to just sit, relax, learn about your camera, do painting from the boat or a quiet river bank, watch the wildlife and landscapes, or even

watch some yacht racing then this could be a way for two of you to still have some time out on the Rivers and Broads

as my guest on board my boat.

I will be giving my time and expertise to give you the opportunity to spend time with me on board my boat as my guest.

There is a twin bedded cabin for you both, complete with bedding, a toilet and shower for your use.

The cruise will be self catering so ensure you bring enough food of your choice as we can not be sure of getting space

at the pubs along the way.

There is a full size shared cooker and refrigerator to use.

I will be doing all the boat handling so you can sit back, relax and unwind.

The views will include the wonderful landscapes that the Broads are set in, together with the wildlife, buildings, windmills, reed beds,

 Norfolk Wherry's and various boats.

I will be giving you information about the various locations as we pass through the villages and points of interest.

There will be places that I should be able to stop off at so you can stretch your legs and opportunities to take photographs.

If you need assistance with your camera then just ask and I will be pleased to help you.

As you will be on board my boat, guests will need to be able to get on and off by your selves as well as getting around the inside of the boat.

There are just 2 or 3 steps inside the boat to manage.

As there are 150+ miles of rivers and Broads, you may wish to see certain places, if you can let me know your requirements

then I possibly could take you there, depending time, distance and tides.

Some locations I will not be able to get to due to the various bridge heights, Potter Heigham bridge Wayford Bridge

and Wroxham Bridge can not normally be passed.

This may be the best option for you if you wish to spend some time cruising the Broads in a very relaxing and informal way.

There is no charge for the boat but my costs are 350.00 for a two day one night cruise for a couple.

If you wish for a longer period then an additional cost is 150.00 per day per couple.

Normal starting place would be Stalham or Sutton on the River Ant and start time would be from 0930.

Returning back to Stalham or Sutton at a time to suit yourselves but normally about 1600.

On pick up we would cruise down the River Ant, going past Barton Turf, Barton Broad where it is said Lord Nelson learnt to sail.

Through the lovely village of Irstead, onto How Hill where we may be able to stop of a walk to the Eel Catchers Cottage.

Passing under Ludham Bridge onto the River Bure and towards the village of Horning where you will see all the thatched property,

three river side public houses and various boat yards.

Once through Horning we pass Black Horse Broad, depending the time of the year we may be able to go into this Broad, a smaller Broad.

Pass that is Salhouse Broad and onto Wroxham Broad.

The evening could be spent on one of the Broads for the night.

The next morning we make a return journey through Horning, then onto Malthouse Broad and Ranworth.

If space is available at the Staithe then we may be able to moor there so allowing you to walk to the Church known as The Cathedral of the Broads

and for the really energetic you could go to the top of the tower for the view over looking the Broads.

Beware there are 89 steps, two ladders and a trap door to get to the top!

Leaving Ranworth we will try and stop over at Saint Benets Abbey.

The only Norfolk monastery founded in the Anglo-Saxon period which continued in use throughout the Middle Ages.

If you are an artist then please let me know and you can spend some time there painting or drawing it if you wished.

We would then head back under Ludham Bridge and back to Stalham or Sutton.

If you book additional days then we would go to Thurne, and Womack and Potter Heigham.

There is also the Suffolk Broads to explore too but you would need about 7 to 10 days on board for that trip.

Details are available if you wish for a longer stay.

Payment can be made by cheque or Paypal (including debit card via Paypal )

A 50% deposit would be required upon booking.

Balance at least two weeks before arrival please.

Any more details required then please feel free to contact me directly on
